COVID 19 VACCINATION DRIVE IN INDIA -ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

 The central government on December 14, 2020 issued The detailed guidelines for mass covid-19 vaccination drive in India. The vaccination drive will begin with the availability of the vaccine candidates for emergency use.




                           the government plans to vaccinate around 30 corore people in the phase first of vaccination drive including Health Care professionals and workers people over 50 years of age and people under 50 year with comorebidities.



                        we have shared below the details of drive include the registration process where to register when will the drive and begin and other important information have a look at these details below.



Covid-19 vaccination drive highlighted:




                the vaccination will carried out by team comprising five member.


After getting vaccinated people will monitored for 30 minut for in adverse event.


A digitalised platform named covid vaccine intelligence network system will help track for enlisted beneficiary for vaccination and covid-19 vaccine on a real-time basis.


Members of Vaccination teams:


There will be five members in each vaccination team at a session side these members will be,


Member one vaccinator officer:


Anyone among the doctors MBBS BDS staff nurse pharmacist  LHV,ANM who is legally authorised to give vaccine.


Member 2 - vaccination officer 1:


Anyone from the police forces home guards civil defence  NSS NCC etc .WHO WILL overview the registrations status of beneficiary at entry point and guard the entry point.


Member 3 - vaccination offices 2


He  OR SHE will verify the identification documents ID proofs


Member 4 and 5 vaccination officer:



They will be responsible for crowd management leading support to vaccinator and communication.



When will the vaccination drive begin?



The covid-19 vaccination drive will begin with the availability of vaccine candidates for use in India.


Who all are expected to get vaccinated initially?


The national expert group on vaccine administration for covid-19 of the central government has following population groups had to be vaccinated against the novel coronavirus under the vaccinated drive..



Approximately 1 crore population of Health Care workers Health Care professionals provided and other worker in Healthcare sector.



Round 2 CRORE population of front line worker including police professional from state and Central armed forces civil defence home guards digester management volunteers and Municipal workers.



Around 27 population falling in age group of 15 year and above and people below 50 year with  CO-MORBIDITIES.



How to register for covid-19 vaccination drive?



In the first phase of the driving government is planning to vaccinate 30 crore peoples given situation of Health Care worker people will combo combo commodities and people of 15 year and above these people need to register at the ( CO-WIN) in website or app.




                    people need to self registered on the ko win website or app ko win app can be downloaded for free on the Play Store there are 5 models on the AP administrator registration vaccination beneficiary acknowledgement and report module.



For self registration 12:00 photo ID documents will be required include the Aadhar card driving licence voter ID passport pension documents and other.



            only pre-registered beneficiary will get vaccinated at the vaccination site as per the priorities on the spot registration will not be allowed.


How many people will get vaccinated per day?



During insertion hundred to 200 people will get vaccinated Pade usually a session site will witness vaccination of hundred people if the site has add equal space for waiting and observation rooms along with Logistic and arrangement for crowded the government will add one more vaccinator officer to the site to create a session for 200 beneficiary.



How will the vaccines be stored at vaccination site?



The vaccine and and it will kept real with the closed leed until a beneficiary comes for vaccination the appropriate be taken to avoid exposing the vaccine carrier aur ice packs to direct sunlight.



               the government is all geared up to set up over 28 900 cold chain point will 85643 equipment across India for storing the vaccine as soon as they become available for use.

In order to avoid mixing of various vaccine candidates in the field the government had asked the state government to allocate the vaccine from a particular manufacture to a district.

PFIZER covid-19 vaccine:


PFIZER  become the first company to seek emergency use authorisation for its covid-19 vaccine candidate from drugs controller general of India the PFIZER and take covid-19 vaccine has already get emergency use authorisation from the United Kingdom and bahrain.



Oxford covid-19 vaccine:


Serum Institute of India has also applied for emergency or authorisation to the drug control general of India export covid-19 vaccine candidate COVISHIELD india Council of Medical Research and the the the S are currently carrying out the Phase III clinical trials of Oxford astrazeneca vaccine candidate in the nation.


COVAXIN  covid-19 vaccine:


Bharat Biotech has to applied for the emergency use authorisation for its covid-19 vaccine name ko vaccine which has been developed by bharat Biotech and Indian Council of Medical Researc.
